Keep your eye open here Domanic, I am sure some will pop up for sale in the near future, just do not buy from AMS motorsport, very pricey;)

For new - find a dealer selling race products clip-ons, inexpensive and do the job well or as mentioned above - stick 50mm in an Ebay search, used suzuki clip-ons came up in my search and from memory I think R1 forks were also 50mm as one point.

Ahhh - here we go; some nice stuff from the USA with an ickle fitting chart

Not on his budget, but very nice bars they are the same as on my 750SSie Minitwin. They have a slight rise that allows them to clear the standard fairing when fitted bellow the yoke so would work well on a 620S

A&R Racing Supplies do steel (no titanium) ones for about £35. Fit under my monsters top yoke, no risers and not the prettiest. May need to slightly re-route throttle cable but perfectly usable and repairable!!!!

I have some I bought for my 600SS last year at the Ally Pally show and never fitted. Alloy, slightly raised. Look just like the Harris GP Clip-Ons in the pic above.

If you are interested I'll take a pic.

I picked up a set at the Ally Pally show at the begining of 2005 from Extreme Byke Sportz, never got to use them as they ended up on Fil2s bike at the first DD meeting on the Cadwell Woodlands circuit. Senna3 uses the same ones

They are the raised ones from ExtremeBykeSports. They fitted the fork legs OK, but the standard 600SS brake reservoir clouted part of the clip-on.

see http://www.ducatisportingclub.com/showthread.php?t=14701

Several people suggested fixes, from swapping the resevoir for a ZX-6 one to shaving a few mm off the existing one!

I'll pm you a price and picture.

Does anyone know of a two-piece clamp ring clip-on? So that the ring clamp has either two sets of bolts 180° apart or a fixing pin arrangement.

I remeber seeing some once upon a time but can't find them now.

The Harris type tube (as sold on the A&R race van and such places for £11 ea) does not fit the clamps that come with the clip-ons from Extreme BykeSportz (Robby Moto) as they stepdown in size to enter the clamping area.
I get my tubes for my Harris clip-ons made by a mate and he has recently made some for Senna3 for his Robby Moto bars, Not sure if my mate will be able to make them next year as he did them on the side and he changes jobs in the new year when he comes to work for me :D

It may not be a problem Kev :) I will still have contacts in the "old" place unless they all leave too:lol: I can ask the question.

Oh and I best say hello as its my first post..Hello all!

About time you posted Mick as your the longest owner of a Duke that I know among all my mates around Oxford.

as for getting bits done if we can source the material then Dougies evening shift will be the best bet.

Hopefully you will hear something about the job from HR later today (Tuesday)

Yep 9 an a half yrs to be exact! an I can still remember all the suckin in through the teeth and mumblings about not waiting around for the breakdown truck when I said I was buying one.

As for material for bars I hope to be taking the tube that the "company bought" ;) with me, so that may not be a problem.

Not heard from HR yet either, but post probably still has to catch up from xmas.

i picked up dd bike and had to travel 140 miles home in a tranny van where the alternator had siezed on route to collect said bike, meaning i had to make the journey back in the afternoon, getting dark, with no brakes, charging system, lights or cooling system. i got home and found that i couldnt get the bike into the back garden as the handle bars were too wide to fit through the house doors...

so to avert having to remove them each time i wanna get in and outta the house, i'm going down the clip on route.

i have sourced a (free) standard set of r1 50mm clipons which will hopefully do the job :)
