View Full Version : Bike Work Table
Has anyone invested in a proper hydraulic workshop table for the bike? I have found one from Machine Mart but before I commit I was wondering if there are better options?
Regards,
Rob
I did a lot of research and searching when I was fitting the workshop out and whilst I don't know what sort of money the MM lift is, I would suggest it's worth spending as much as you can afford.
I ended up buying a GRIP bench. The UK distributer is C&C on 01773 608909. They do a variety of benches but I guess you'd be into £500 minimum. They might deal though. Beware though, they can talk the hind legs off a donkey
The other places worthy of a mention are Probike.co.uk and Balco.
These are are all pretty much "professional" spec. and while they are worth the money, you do get what you pay for so be prepared to take a sharp breath.
Nelly,
Thanks for that. This is exactly what I was looking for. Do you know if C&C have a web site before I phone them for an ear melting.

The phone No for C&C seems to be a fax number, any thoughts?

Rob, I know Tec Moto used to sell work benches, in fact the same ones they use themselves. Can't remember what make they were and they don't list them on their website anymore but I'm sure if you give Wayne/Mike a call they'll either get hold of one for you or put you in touch with someone.
This is their web address rob http://www.customcruisers.com/
there are a couple of other phone numbers 01773 541445 / 01773 608489
rob nelly is rite ! my bench's r grip ! but there is a newer range of them out , go for top spec you wont regret it!!
ps DO NOT BUY the red hydrolic 1s that have a rear wheel free plate that comes out ! THEY collapse !:o
