Hi
I am looking for Ohlins suspensions for my new project on 996,the question is can i use the Ohlins from 999s for my 996.
I know that front fender does not fit right way,and i know at the lower triple ohlins are 56mm and the showa is 53mm. I am interested to know if the calliper alignment will be an issue with my 996.
Thank you

You may find the calipers are out of alignment as the 999 uses discs with a 15mm offset, just as the 748R did. So the easy option is four 5mm spacers to go between the caliper and the fork leg and 5mm longer M10 x 1.25 caliper bolts

A photo of the front end in my 996 taken last weekend, which is how I know the standard spindle fits
