748r coils

Hi all, not been on forum for quite a while,i am currently reassemleing my 748r 2001, and i cant for the life of me remember which coil goes to which cylinder. any help would be much appreciated

Portside coil too vertical head, starboard side coil to horizontal head

Hi, thanks for the reply, but as you sit on the bike which is port side?(sorry but i am not very nautical)

Port = Left, Starboard = Right.
It's all to do with which way the bike(/boat) is pointing as you might be sitting on it backwards ;)

Thanks,i generally sit on the bike facing the handlebars, i know this is strange.......

Sorry....Port is clutch and stbd is front brake.....been at sea too long!
