Doesn't sound too far off the mark, especially if you've gone to a bigger OD. The bigger pipes are usually intended to go on to a bike with a mono subframe so the lugs wouldn't be there.
You could tap the pipework a little with a rubber mallet to "settle" things down a little and maybe free up a little more clearance, but if it aint toucjing you'll be fine.

Oops forgot to add they are 45mm's ( Race) same as STD but are Fro my track bike ;);)
I would not be using them on my ROAD BIKE as this would not leagal , nudge nudge wink wink !

I've got a 996 in here at the moment, with BP subframe and 45 Termis on. There is 4mm of clearance.
They could well "settle" a little once they are hot and the springs pull a little ???

Thanks Nelly , have got around 4mm now , the "race Termi's" seem to take a slightly different angle to the back , when i put the std pipes back on the clearance was not a problem
Will run it till hot then give the pipes a little help to move ( hammer):D
