Hee Hee
There's clearly just not enough SS riders out there! (or is that on here....)
The more I ride my SS (had it for 9 months now) the more I like it. I've never ridden a Ducati Superbike (998 etc) but I'm just loving my Supersport.
A little mod here, a small change there and I'm excited again.
Just before Christmas I had a 14t front sprocket put on, with new chain and rear too, and am still happily exploring the difference it makes.
For a bike I originally bought for £2.5k I'm not sure I could be having more fun........

I must admit since I have had my SL it has created quite a lot of interest at the local meets I`ve been to, and I could have sold it many times over, there is just something about the SS family that sturs up most knowledgable bikers, thet are not the quickest, fastest or most powerful machines but they just have loads of character.
I`ll take mine to the grave LOL

I've only recently joined the SS club but agree totally. Puts a smile on my face everytime I start her up.
Are there enough SS riders to have a get-together? (I am not a DSC member yet but do plan to join as soon at the next Essex meet that is not pi%%ing it down)
An ss get together that would be good. I think owners are scatered far and wide across the uk it would have to be a get together at a race meeting or something.
But we must remember we could not exclude any other Ducati rider that may want to meet up.

Absolutely.
I imagine that ss's are in the minority for ducati meets and would be nice to be in the majority!
Perhaps one way would be to meet up at an event. eg Ally Pally, or the NEC show?
ps SSTU, thanks for the picture tip - I will eventually get round to doing it.
cheers, Chi
NEC is quite central but the show is ages away.
Were is everybody from.

I'm in east london, quite close to M11 and could probably get up to Peterborough for a rideout, or Birmingham (NEC) for an event.

OK lads and lasses lets bring this subject up again in the spring and we'll have a central meet. We can put a message on the general message page calling for ss owners but no ducati owner is exempt.
A greasy spoon type cafe sounds like a good meeting place then if any local guys turn up maybe they could show us some good local roads.
PS. If I'm not mestaken Madmav is from around the midlands.
