I'm gonna sound so dumb asking this, but here goes...
Do brake pads go "off" like tyres can do?
I'm not talking about while they're being used - I mean if I was to buy in bulk while I'm feeling flush, would they be ok to keep in thier packaging in the garage for a period of time?

Yeah, no probs.

Yep. Felix is right. They've got a pretty good shelf life. Just make sure the packaging is air tight. If they were to get damp, then they'd start to "go off"
