Can't remember who I was talking to at the AGM about machined top triple clamps, but saw this one on e-bay for anyone interested.

watch out for these.................
Look carefully, where the steering damper mount fastens on, and you'll see it's an original cast one that's been machined out. Not a true CNC'd one from billet.
These are prone to snapping, splitting, breaking.............whatever you want to call it.
Too risky IMO..........

It woz me who spoke about trying to find a proper machines billet top yoke.

I agree with Nelly about machining out a standard yoke.

The original is very flimsey at best so I would stear clear of this item.

Any body else know of a proper billet 999 style top yoke for a 998?
