Go under the surgons knife tomorrow morning:(, time to get the metal out of my leg, nail from knee to ankle, 4 screws & one of those is bent:( & another is broken:o.
Offered to bring my own tools but he said he would use his own:D.
Hope to be out late tomorrow or friday. If all goes well i am on for the DSC trackday:cool:, wish me luck(cos I`m scared):(

im in the same boat..
just got out of the hospital myself, i had a disc in my back taken out(nice!)
im also hoping ill be back on my feet for May.
but get lots of bike mags and a few mates to record the superbikes at the weekend and the time will fly by(think of it as a small holiday!!!!!!) most of all chin up..:saint:

Thanks for the kind thoughts, should be out later today or tomorrow, so will be at home for the first round of the superbikes:D.
Gettinga bit nervous now, got to be at Lincoln County by 8 am, hour & a quarter to go.

Thanks for all your thoughts, did not go as planed:(, got the top two screws out but both the bottem ones where broken, they tried but failed so the nail,(pin) is still there:(.
At least they got the two top screws out;), they had to cip bone away from around the top of the nail before they tried getting it out, & from around the two top screws, so my knee is swollen & B****y painful & I will be on crutches for a few days or more:(

Well Chris I suppose its progress, getting some if not all out. Will they be trying again in the not to distant future or are thet baffled about what to do next.

Don't think mine will come out, the K-nail has been in the left thigh since 1981 and the screws in the right ankle since 82, at least my body hasn't rejected them yet, bloody squatters.

Im sure all will be fine, and btw, there's nothing wrong being scared b4 any op. I was sh*ttin meself before my last op, cant do that now tho', all cut out.
