Just when I thought I had it all sussed out...along comes our fave weekly paper and blows all my ideas away about my next boot purchase.

I know all reviews should be taken with a pinch of salt...but there are a few comments about the ankles being so very stiff that ring true......

Anyway...just in case you w=might want to check it out further...here is the distributors website:

Richa, Oxtar, Targa, BT and Meta website (http://www.nevism.co.uk/default.asp)

and here is the review:

I have Oxtars and find them comfortable on the bike but noisy (squeek alot) when I walk. They are also the only sports boot, with loads of protection, that I could get to fit my calfs...were not all Italian built racing snakes!

I found Oxtar boots perfect for me , dont get on with Sidi boots & my Oxtars are still going strong two years later , but as the artical says the stay quite stiff , but that is a good thing as long as they fit properly in the first place
Although i must admit Oxtar's where not my first choice initialy , now that i have them & would buy another pair !!!
