I was just in the process of "waking up" my 748BP after it's winter hibernation

I noticed that there was nothing on the clutch. There was no fluid in the container. I presume that this will either be down to the Master or Slave cylinder. There is no sign of any leakage around either.

What is the best way to identify which is at fault and what options are available to fix the problem. From a quick Google it seems fairly easy to get rebuild kits for the slave, but not for the master

Many thanks Steve

Clutch slave is most likely in my experience. You could try topping the container back up and check for leaks with paper towel etc but it is nasty stuff.

Brembo dont like end users rebuilding their kits, powerhouse in the UK sell do sell caliper seal kits so you could try them:

Less time consuming would be a new slave, Oberon do some really nice units.

Installing Banjo bolts with extra bleed nipples can make bleeding a lot easier / faster.

Thanks for that reply. I will change the slave for an Oberon and see where that gets me
