Have found tonight that I couldnt get the BT openworld home page up. I knew it was going 'over to the joint site with Yahoo' but wasnt told when.
My probs:
1. I cannot get a home page as my 'opening page' - just a blank page, with the address it the top bar saying 'btinternet.....)
2. I cannot register for the FREE upgrades they offer, as all I get is a blank page, after I have entered my email & password
3. My Norton AV (2003) couldnt do an update - and still cant...
4. I now cannot send & receive using Outlook Expess.
5. The home page - when I got it - will not let me send an email to BT - as soooo slow, it wont operate...

I am on a little Sony Vaio, using Dial up on a 56k psion gold card, and using bt surftime (use it most a work, so why pay more at home!)

Can anyone help - in easy words... and tell me what to do?

Tel 077601 33261 - or reply in s i m p l e w r i t i n g here.

Ta,
Charlotte

ps - no boffins in my office till next week either...

HELP!

Sorry Chaz,

I haven't got a Scooby-doo I'm affraid.

Are you sure you haven't used your hours up for the month?

Or, maybe there's a problem with BT itself?

Sorry I can't be of any use :(

Hang in there!

Cheers!

Scott

But have got onto the bt/yahoo page, but is so ridiculously slow (if operating at all) have given up.
Other strange thing, is that when I submit my post here, I cant see it - and have to back to todays posts, to find it! Weird........

My old company used to have BT Connect. I would say that it worked acceptably well for oh, maybe about 10% of the time!!

I use Freeserve at home and that works okay for 98% of the time.
