Anyone know where to get a kit to replace the stock auto- retractable setup?

You don't need to buy a "kit" as such. You can replace the nut and plate with the later OE Ducati items.
Nut part number 75010481A
Plate part number 82912602A
Simply swap them over with the originals on your stand. The Nut is the one on the back of the pivot and the plate is the one that connects the springs to the bracket.
