Guys, I am sure that this is a topic which has been discussed previoulsy on many occasions, but as a new member I am seeking some advice and help. I have just picked up a titanium grey 748s and am looking to put on some termi's what I can't decide is, carbon or titanium. So the floor is open, which do you think would look better, is there a difference in sound, weight, build quality?? etc etc. All help is appreciated.

P.S Has anyone got termi's for sale???

I had Ti Termigs on my 998.They looked gorgeous and sounded fantastic. The Ti cans have a slightly harsher note than carbon. Also less likely to need re-packing every two years.

Blew a great whole in my carbon SilMoto cans so have now had them repacked and resleeved in Ti. They've been delivered today so will be waiting for me when I get home :D

The carbon cans were on the bike from new in '99 so they lasted fairly well considering. Only reason I went for Ti was for a different look.

.............but everyone's got them, so Ti looks good too as it's a bit different to most.

Carbon is so yeaterday don`t you know.

Seriously Titanium is lurvely, instead of Termi`s you might want to look at the quality of Akrapovic they knock spots of Termi`s and are similar if not cheaper in price.

Carbon looks better (titanium ones look a bit too standard for my liking ;) ) however the titanium ones sound better.

Unfortunately they have a habit of dinging very easily
