Ducati and Carrera team up for a partnership on the road and on the track
Ducati and Carrera enter into a multi-year global licensing agreement that will see the creation of a collection of dual-brand sunglasses and eyewear
Carrera also becomes Official Partner of Ducati Corse
Pecco Bagnaia and Jack Miller will be the stars of the advertising campaign for the promotion of the CARRERA|DUCATI collection
Bologna / Padua, Italy, 8 February 2022 - As revealed during the presentation video of the 2022 Ducati Lenovo Team, Carrera joins the Official Partners of Ducati Corse. For the next 4 years, the logo of the prestigious eyewear brand will be on the fairing of the Ducati Desmosedici GP.
At the same time, Ducati and Carrera enter into a global licensing agreement for a long-lasting partnership that will see the creation of a complete range of dual-brand sunglasses and optical frames, specially designed for all sports and two-wheel enthusiasts.
A union that promises to be successful, developed by two great companies such as Ducati and Carrera who share a passion for design and sport, the ability to combine style and technology and a bold approach oriented towards innovation.
The Ducati-Carrera collection is inspired in its style by the iconic Panigale V4, the bike that brings the experience accumulated on the track to the road and represents the maximum expression of Ducati's values of sportiness and high-performance. The temples of the frames will be a clear reference to the profile of the bike, which will make the glasses immediately recognizable.
The materials chosen for the collection, such as carbon fibre and titanium, best express technology and innovation, giving life to light and resistant models. The subtle ergonomics and the glossy paint treatment on the inside of the temples are specially designed to make the frames practical for use under a helmet. All frames will have dual Ducati and Carrera logos.
For the 2022 season, Pecco Bagnaia and Jack Miller will be the stars of the advertising campaign for the promotion of the CARRERA|DUCATI collection.
