I want to change my factory standard pads for something with a bit/lot more stopping power. Any suggestions that will be better with standard discs and fast road use??

Cheers Sticky

Lots of choice here with plenty of previsou discussions on this board. Do a search on this and the old board. Lots of people like EBC HH, although they tend to wear the rotors more than others. I run Bendix pads.

Bendix MF supersport sintered are ggggggggrrrrrrrreat.
Better than EBC and SBK3 IMHO!
worth a try or if you want to go the whole hog you can try and get some performance friction ones.
not tried em but heard some good ramblings.

I run these (http://www.pdq1.co.uk/perfriction.htm) Performance Friction 95's. Only used them on the track though so may be a bit overkill on the road.

Thanks for advice everyone.

Just ordered a set of bendix MF from JB racing. £38 can't be bad. Fit them at weekend.

New to DSC and am impressed with NB and contributions. I would like to meet some of you locally to N. Yorks for rideouts. I'll go to rideouts site and see whats going on.

Welcome, Sticky. Didn't notice before your from this neck of the woods. MotoDesigns in York does Bendix pads. Ask for Tim, 01904 623 421. He rides a very nice SP3

Cheers I'll bear that in mind. What's the address and what else does he supply? Usual parts and accessories??
Does he service bikes?

Yes, he services bikes and supplies most of what you need/want. He's not exclusive Ducati but knows them well. He services my 996RS and don't trust that to just anyone.
