Just thought i would say a big thumbs up to Michael Laverty. Riding the 749r to its first ever win on Sunday.
Aye,
Roll On DSC Cadwell. That's one bike I want to look around......
I had a good sniff around Lorenzo Lanzi's bike at Misano, nice!
i was looking at one in Fylde superbikes yesterday whilst sorting my 999R.
i reckon it looked nicer than the 999!:o;)
Chillo, you having or got a 999r?
Welcome on board.
pick it up next week!!:sing::D
just sorting some carbon goodies!:D
no carbon exhaust shroud with race kit? oh well!

Is it a 2003 r then as i thought the 04 came with that?
If it is, good price?? ;)
Andy,
its a new 03 model on a 04 plate, was going to buy lapman's 998r special but i haven't been able to sell my 996r so far so i'm chopping it in for 999!
they had a couple going for 16999 which as you can imagine at that price sold straight away!
yes good value..ish.
I had a similar deal with mine, and the price to swap with my trade in value, made it an offer i couldnt refuse.
You have obviously ridden with the genuine 999 engine, buzzin aint it. I thought completely different to the others?
yeah i thought the stock 999 felt like it had a much smoother pick up.
Is there actually any differences between the 998 testastretta's and the 999 model engines? i didn't think there was?
998bp 998s 999 999s are all the 998cc engine.
your 998r and 999r are the 999cc short stroke buzzn motor!!
yeah, i know... maybe i should start a new thread.
sorry!
