Hi Guys,

Been watching and reading all the blurb on the site. Been a member of other sites and this is the best by far. Joined the club a couple of months ago so decided to intro myself.

This is my second Duke with the first being a 916 Strada which was all done up but after a number of breakdowns I went back to the Japs, however my last but one bike was an MV F1000R, the girlfriend didnt enjoy sitting on the back so bought a GTR1400 and she didnt enjoy that either so bought the 1098 in retaliation, best thing I could have done.

Lovely bike and will keep it for a long while to come. Hoping to get to the SW meets depending on work.

Cheers and safe riding Jim

Glad you are smitten with your 1098. Bit of a change from the GTR, though, wouldn't you say?
