Are you suggesting that this is the bike to take the place of the Multistrada? (As usual , I'm behind the times.)

Thats my guess. 1098 engine and R1200GS alike looks!

Guess again-try 1198 engine-and looks to make an R1200GS look like the bag of bolts it is.............

Where did you find the picture, any more shots??-not that I'm interested you understand-but I've already ordered one.

no dispute......the duke will be more like a TIN of bolts being rattled at 5 rpm!!

depends how tall it is...if its GS like that will be worth a look, if like the multi way off my radar!!

anyway...streetfighter is more interesting ;)

It's ok guys I like the GS as well and have ridden 1100, 1150, and 1200 varients. I was seriously interested in the 1200 when I read the initial spec-'Lighter than a 999, and 100BHP' yeh, right-try 225 kg and 85bhp. My ST4S made it feel distinctly underpowered-comfy though.

Looks like a normal sportsbike size rear tyre so maybe it will have a 17 on the front as well.

If they would just release some more pics I could see me changing my deposit from the SF, in fact had I known about the strada aperta I would have put a deposit on that instead !

if they can soprt the cans out on the SF with a nice aftermarket one - the two on-top cans look awful - I'd rather have one of those...but then I have a GS so dont need another mile muncher ;)
