I should have one, but I cant get it to fit :( Looks like i'll have to bounce around donnington on the old pogo stick, and is there supposed to be bits of metal in the old engine oil? looks like finger nail clippings :(

I sell Wilbers Shocks in the UK...what model is it and for which bike, and why doesnt it fit? is it an Ducati SS model that you want it to fit?

Yes, I ordered it from racelab, It's a lovely looking thing, but there is a hose connector on the top which doesn't clear the petrol tank, Andrew from race lab is in spain at the moment so I can't speak to him. I think it will have to go back? I have made a 10mm spacer to raise the tank but there is still only 17mm clearance which will decrease when the suspension is loaded, and the connector is 31mm so it is never going to fit :( I think that it probably should have been attached on the side, not on the top.

Dave how much for a Wilbers shock for a 600SS, my mate is doing his first year of DD this year and is thinking of replacing the 750Ssie Showa shock he has with one with a ride height adjuster and has been looking at Ohlins and Nitron so far
PM me the price if you don't want to put it on here

Yes Matt, it came from me so I know which one you have. It doesnt matter WHICH shock you have you will need to put some spacers under the tank hinge to raise it up....that info was given to Racelab....and its the same whether its Wilbers or Gubellini, which I run, and most people I know have to do the same with an after market unit. You want to raise the tank hinge by about 10mm Matt. The clearance wont decrease when you load the suspension because the part where the hose is attached doesnt move !

Pfff ... I run a Gubellini without clearance problems - after I smacked the tank with a hammer a few times to MAKE clearance ;)

Not everyone has a 10mm calibrated hammer, though. I've only got Imperial ones, in fact.

They are VERY highly thought of Paul, and in fact, MOST of my Wilbers customers are BMW riders.......though we have them on BSB and Superstock bikes too and on Ducatis in Thundersport as well.....
