More threads on SS wheels...... I'm really appreciating the advice I receive on here, as my time is running short and it's helping me make purchasing decisions.

I have an opportunity to buy a pair of 888 magnesium wheels.

In short will they fit my '98 900ssie?

I have some information that says the 888 and SS sprocket carriers are the same, and some other information that they are different. Anyone know for sure?

Will the 888 carrier fit SS sprockets? Will the brake disc offset be the same?

Could be another expensive mistake if I get it wrong!

Thanks Frank.

That size hassle isn't what I need right now.

Cheers for the link.

OK. Well you can borrow 2 sets of my wheels to get you through the first meeting if you can get your asses up here. Usual rules apply.
