If you've not been out there before, you will not believe the quality of the roads......... and the lack of backmarkers....... :)

fordie - I have them on a .gdb Garmin Mapsource format if you want them, thats how I plan my routes (great bit of kit!!)
shame I cant work out how to upload them to google earth for anyone to see and load
Thanks Brad but Im still doing it the old way -- Map and Compass and map memory keeping up the old skills to teach the Grandchildren 4D

4D/ Bradders,
I also have info on some routes to the west and south of that area, as stated it's a fantastic area especially mid week as there is very little traffic.
You have to be careful at weekends in some areas as the goon squad's come out in force with speed guns, helicopters etc.
I gave details of some in the article in Pronto summer 07 " Roads worth a detour"
