Following on from my post about the fall out with the local dealer.

Keep your eyes out for the following 748R going up for sale, make sure you steer well clear of it!!!!!

Thanks to Scottch who also noticed the frame bolts in places are not the original ones???? Possible heavy drop in the past....well spotted that man.

Anyway i will not go in to all the probs here, feel free to drop me a line for a run down on what a shed it was......

Details as follows:

Ducati 748R 2000 on a W Reg in Yellow

W705 AOS

7482 Kms FSH (My ****)!!!!!

Chassis No. ZDMH300AAYB001332

I am almost 100% the dealer will be looking for a quick turnaround on this, keep an eye out for it in all the usual biker publications in the for sale section!!!

A pleasure Tont,

I would hate for someone else to go through what i have been through this last week, especially a fellow DSC'er

Actually guys, just remember that it's not the bike itself but the attitude of the seller at fault here!

If you can get a good deal out of it then go for it, but you've been warned in advance!

So the fact it broke down within 7kms has nothing to do with it? ;)

Isn't there anything Ducati UK can do about this lemon then?

Don't think so Psychlist,

It is a 2000 model which is well out of warranty now.

Never a single Ducati service in it's life so not a leg to stand on there either.

Basically it has been used and abused by the looks of it.
