Odyssey PC310 in 999 Query

Hi Folks in 999 land,

Odyssey PC310

Does any one have any experience of this battery as a replacement for the OE in the 999Bip?

If yes, does it fit the battery mounting? And does it truly provide better cranking power?

My buddy and his wife both have 999s, and they crank so incredibly slowy that starting is a hit and miss affair, and one has now eaten its sprague clutch(OE batteries and regulators have all been replaced).

....makes it sound like a difficult install but I know nothing of 999's however.

I'd normally recommend our latest supporter but I dont think they supply Odyssey batteries (999 link below)

I've had a look at theSpeedzilla threads - fiddly, as you say, but doable.

However, I have to find a solution - my buddies wife is so sick of bad starting she's thinking of buying a Yama... a Yamo... a Ya... I can't bring myself to say it, but it's a terrible thing.
