Guys,

Just had a phone call from New Era and it seems some of you are being a bit tardy in getting your forms back to them.

Can you get the paperwork in as soon as possible please.

That will be the ones recovering from injuries or trying to repair their bikes.
I handed mine in at Cadwell

Sorry about that, mine went in the post today. Forgot to do it before heading to France last week.

Hope to see them all at CC

Seems strange that NE are chasing the DD lads when they are by far the largest grids on the day.

With a lack of Bike racing in the area these days, the fans usually turn out for this one and New Era like to put on a show, with the poor turnout in other classes DD could be the class that steals the show and gives the race fans something to watch and talk about

I think the title says it? i was very suprised to see a pointed e mail to DD riders in my inbox!! But i wish they were in the 21st century and had an online booking option>

Would've been nice to have a track day on the Friday before, not viable to do 2 trips down there so the Wednesday's track day isn't an option.
The 22nd could well be a procession as I know I'm not the only newbie who's not been there before, some decent SOT boys are in the same boat too.
Think there would be any chance of a few sighting laps so we don't get in the way too much of people going for serious qualifying times?

Well my entry has gone in now i've got over a dose of gout :( !!!!...

....the pain of which made falling off a bike almost desirable.

Got a bit of organising to do if I'm going to do both double headers at Pembery and Cadders' though

Good idea Scott, a few extra sighting laps for making the journey. I have neither the money for a trackday or time to study YouTube, so it'll certainly be a learning curve.

Mine was sent in with my Cadwell and final Cadwell App.:D

Will i make it to the top ten by virtue of none attendances
C'mon folks, should be fun.

At last .. a local circuit for Senna/Skids/Dalis and myself. Only 3/4 hr away for me. Saying that I have only ever done 4 dry sessions of this circuit last wed. So I'll be as new to it as most newbies.
If any of you fancy hanging around the area we have the Popham Megameet the next day Sun. Skids and Senna are driving straigt there to camp up in the van and a few others. so there will be a BBQ that night and a few cans. Its a great event.

As Steve says nice one Charlie, as for the pain from Gout, I'm glad to say I have no idea and would like it to remain so.

Might be an idea to persuade Ali Knight to turnout.
Jumped off more than once last time as I recall. Bent the bike into all shapes and back again!
Really quite entertaining unless your name is Anthony!
eek ! Soz!

CC is a great event, really entertaining and good support from the locals, the most 'packed stands' of spectators.

Track is good too, fast....oh yes.

Yep AK47 jumping of the bike 3 times in one day, one of which was on the start grid which made for a bad start for those of us behind him.
We would certainly prefer NO repeats of Antony's crash or Griffs for that matter but boy was he fast around there on that 583.
Also the venue of Paul Paynes class B win if I recall correctly

Good idea about the extra sighting laps Scott. You're definitely not the only newbie, it'll be my first race since 1991 and my first at CC since 1986 (my first ever race in fact, and I crashed then), so can you all please give me a friendly wave as you lap me. :)

That start line episode was with me, I was lucky to stay onboard and I've got it all on film. :D

Oddly enough, it was the same bike doing both things in different years!

Unfortunately I too will be watching this year rather than racing :-(
