What/Where a good battery ??????

Got a standard cheap **** battery thats has died after being stood for sometime, now i've got the beast back together with a tuned motor i need a new battery but thinking that one with a higher cranking amps might be a good idea? but what and will it be cool with the charging system??? any ideas or help would be cool :) cheers Tez
