Hiya people,my monster has had quite a bit of work done to it,over the years,944 Hi-comp,fcr41s,twin plugged,st2 cams, lightened fly-wheel,big bore exhaust, and I have never been that happy with how it runs,I am pretty sure it's down to the jetting,it starts on the button, ticks over ,but goes all horrible there on up,now I was wondering if some-one has a similar spec'd bike, and they could give me their carb setting's,or if some-one know's of a person who is clued up on sorting this kind of problem out,I am London based, but travel between here and Norfolk all the time, but distance not an issue, all advise appreciated.Cheers in advance.Peter

Hi Peter,

I have a 944ss with fcr41's myself but its been so long since I worked on him that I've forgotten most of the settings I'm afraid...

Try searching here and the 'net for fcr there is a bit about

I'm pretty sure member 'Zimbo16' here has a similar spec monster to you; certainly he had fcr's on it at one point, his contact details are here:

There have been a few threads on Ducatisti and Ducati.ms websites whose supersports forums are very good.

Chris Kelly's american shop & website is also a great source of info:

Good luck - Frank
