quill exaust evo2

hi there can you please help ive just got quill exaust evo2 exhaust for a 749 ducati and just found out it came of a 999 ducati of the same year as far as i now the fitment will be the same would it still be ok to put on the 749

The Quill evo is just a slip on can,is'nt it?
If so,worry ye not,it should go straight on.
