I'm selling my 748 as another bike has taken my eye and need to sell this to pay for it!
I bought the bike about 6 months ago after it had been sat for 3 years, so have done a major service myself for peice of mind including the following:

Belts changed with gen ducati belts
Pipercross air filters
New fuel filter
New fuel line O rings
New brake pads front and rear
Fresh Oil and Antifreeze
New Oil Filter
Valve clearances checked (fine)
Rocker condition checked and is fine
New thrust washer behind starter sprag
Alterntator nut cleaned, threadlocked and re torqued
New front sprocket
New battery
I'm sure there are more things..
I had no intention of selling the bike, but another Duc has come up so needs must.

Its HPI clear, has Silmotor exhausts and standards, Supercorsa tyres and is a great bike. The fairings are a bit chipped and it has no service history prior to all the receipts that I have kept from my work I have done.

Great, useable bike at a bargain basement price as need to sell ASAP!

only 3 or 4 previous owners from memory, the milometer is showing about 3k miles, but it was previously used as a track day toy and does look like its done more than 3k miles in all honesty. But is a very nice bike at the money.

Only MOT'd a couple of months ago and has tax as well!

Just for curiosity's sake I tried the auto-quote thingymebob on the website and it offered £2032 for a 2002 748R. Tossers. It's just quite sad that there must be enough desperate people out there to keep these sort of vultures in business.
