Sent an email and got this reply.....

To keep it simple and clear in the eventuality you would like to close the deal we will be using www.escrow.com which is recommended by eBay and it suits my needs since it allows me to get 48 hours off to arrange collection. Please reply with any concerns.

Most definitely a scam, especially as he's asking for ESCROW.

Tell him you'll turn up with cash and see what he says!

crikey these scammers need to learn to get their prices right,they might have a better chance that way ;o).
some poor git has even had his myspace stolen for some bullshit cred

I am deployed at the moment. I would like to use www.escrow.com since it allows you an inspection prior to the sale. Waiting your decision if you want me to register our transaction with www.escrow.com and eBay(I'll be paying the fees).

yikes indeed, was still on ebay for days after i reported it, even copied them the dodgy replies.
