well.........i was referring to which model for the magnesium clutch case, as the desmoquattro, ie half your list, is different to the testastretta, the other half of your list!!!!!

the only one different is the alternator Mg case :D

"anyway 1000ds/900/s4rs/s4r/s4/916/996/998/999/" .........think andy was refering to that list. The 900, S4, 916 and 996 are different to the later cases used on 'stretta motors and the ones in the list off Ducati.com.
Easy spot is the blanking plug just to the left of the sight glass. The earlier bikes don't have it.

Yep. That's the DS motor. Same cover as the late 2V's and 'stretta motors. The 900, S4, 916 and 996 cases are different........they wouldn't ;)
