Just wanted to drop in and say hi from Denmark,

Many thanks to Ian DSC site support, for his help in getting me logged in.

And to Chris P member of this board, who should be waking up anytime now on the ferry from Harwich to Denmark on which he is traveling to bring me my new bike, i was hoping that he would be sleeping with it on the car deck but he talked me into getting him a cabin, sure hope he got it through the door ok :)

Welcome, Bionicle! Enjoy the DSC Board, ther's an awful lot of good advice, info and banter here.

And congratulations on eliminating the Bulgarians from Euro 2004!

I guess new members are like buses - none for ages & then.......

Welcome, and I hope you love your new bike: Ive always found the ferry beds a little cramped for both my bike & me.....

Thanks for all the welcomes.

whats this new bike that Chris is bringing you then

1996 748,

Well she is second hand but new to me :) as its been a few years since i last ownend a bike i thought if i am going to drop one it may aswell be a second hand one.

She arrived safe and sound although Chris.P had some concern on the ferry, as the crossing was rough and there had been no help or instruction from the ferry crew on the best way to secure her to the car deck to avoid any accedent in rough seas. i believe there was also a limited amount of tie down straps, so if your planning taking your bike on the ferry it may be worth having a couple of tie down straps with you.

Welcome brother;)
It was a pleasure for Cathy & I to bring your bike to you & spend a weekend end with you, Manuela & the children in Denmark. Like you said the only worry was " Had I tied it down propely" as it got quite rough on the way over, plenty of tie down straps, but no instructions or decent tie down points.
Enjoy your new pride & joy, shame it is not YELLOW though;)

There`s gratitude for you.

Helped choose a bike, stored it, rode it to Denmark & I have even sorted out a chain adjuster spanner as his is missing from his toolbag, it`s going in the post today. :sniff:
