Ok, here goes, decided a couple of quid may be worth spending (whether I have it or not!) and Skids reckons he can sort a spacer to fit old spindle and forks ;) (as does Nick B)
light weight wheels
ally swingarm
condition and looks not too worried about, just needs to be usable without any additional work
got to be worth at least 2 seconds a lap :D
also looking for an ally engine bolt kit if anyone has good (cheap) source
any other quick easy changes??

smaller battery, single exhaust system, cut off redundant bracketry, single disc set up, smaller brakes resevoirs, seat foam instead of original seat, chopping back wiring loom.
I am even toying with cutting the front half of my petrol tank off and running a mesh tank shaped section over the airbox.

It might hold as much as mine then. :D

cheers Mike, how was that battery you bought? will be chopping the tail too, and I' hesitating at 2-1 (I have committed to a SS down pipes which I'll see what I can do with) but that would mean more dyno work and cost
