On Friday I was at Stafford services on the M6 coming home from my trip to Ireland having just having been caught in a deluge that was so bad it was causing some lorries on the N bound side to start head butting each other. I put my helmet and spectacles on the seat whilst I put my new waterproofs on.Of course the zip had to break on them. as I was pulling them off again I knocked my helmet off the seat. as i stepped foreward to stop it falling on the floor I felt something go crunch under my foot. Yes youve guessed it my spectacles had fallen on the floor. 200 miles from home pouring with rain visibllity down to a few yards no waterproofs no spectacles. What a s**t end to what had been a great trip:sniff:

I guessed you could still ride without specs:puzzled: Shame about the end but the rest sounds cool.:)

fourtunately it is only my left eye that is a real problem and it was the right side of the specs that was damaged so I could ride home albeit very sedately
