Just done some searching and this place looks like it will do us. Hope we can all fit in on spec. Or if we know how many, then pre-book.
It is 1.5 ish miles from the hotel.
Review of Papadoms Restaurant from 22 January 2011
This IMO is the best Indian restaurant in Daventry and the surrounding area. We go there quite regularly and the staff are always very friendly and attentive. Oh and the food - well I have never had a poor meal there yet.
Highly recommended!
Don't want to load this onto you Phil but sounds like a good idea to Pre Book and if you can recommend it/kinda know them... well :) :)
Summer and I are a definite and perhaps if others confirm you could book us in?
Sounds like there will be at least 9 of us, so should be safe booking 10??
Probably a good idea to book if it is that close... May be a few people with the same idea. Add Anna and I to the list.

I don't mind booking it, the reccomendation was from the web not from me. I've rarely ever ventured into Daventry. I'll leave it to the weekend to phone and book that gives peeps here a chance to look and see and say yea or nah.
Need to sort out a time thats agreeable with everyone. I'm easy, but you already knew that. :D

Bump People, I'm not booking anything, till I get some feedback to the question posted earlier this week.
Do we know what time the New Era Dinner is? We should make it the same time as that. Or make it 2hrs? before the presentations if we know the time of those.
As for numbers, I would book for 9 unless you hear anything different (Phil & Jan, James Stevenson, Alan & Summer, Scott & Karen, Ron & Anna)

Don't count me and Karen as we're out with a couple of other couples.
We'll prob end up at the same place anyway!

Good work Gandalf, me and the gay Bozza lookin forward to the 'Craic'
Craic From Wikipedia
Craic or crack is a term for fun, entertainment, and enjoyable conversation, particularly prominent in Ireland It is often used with the definite article – the craic. The word has an unusual history; the form craic was borrowed into Irish from the English crack in the mid-20th century, and the Irish spelling was then reborrowed into English. Under either spelling, the crack/craic has great cultural currency and significance in Ireland.
