Shropshire: N Wales: and Staffs New Region

Hi

As Chris has already outlined I am new to the club. I live in Shrewsbury, Shropshire and I am new to Ducati ownership after to many years mucking about the race cars. I have a Yellow 748 which for me is more than enough and fulfill years of wanting to own a Ducati.

I am trying to get the region going but do not as yet have any firm boundaries for the territory. My ideas are a weekly or fortnightly ride and gathering, maybe a few pub nights and some serious fun. I do not want to be prescriptive as this is after all your club so locations times ect are all still up in the air. It will be shaped by the response I get from members to get the bikes out and participate in some real fun.

Please post here or PM and lets see how it all pans out.

Cranker I think there is already a region for Cheshire. Steve M is the contact but I am not sure if this is still active. Try Steve and see if it is still going, if not you are welcome anytime............:)

Hi I have spoken to Chris and Cheshire can be added to the territory. Come on lets get this going we must have members in this area that want to get together and socialise and have some fun or is everyone play on their own?

There are a few members in the Cheshire area I have met through DD racing, I don't bother much on the road these days as two previous bans have made it a bit off a lottery on the road for me. I would pop along for a social drink of an eve, but work keeps me out of the country monday to friday at the moment. So it's just Sunday eve at the Tap, Eastham ferry for me

If you anyone is doing any trackdays do let me know, I do a fair few a year and it would be good to get a cheshire group on the track together

I think that the group did but by the looks of it, there isn't anyone doing anything in that region at the moment.

How about resurrecting the region Karen? We can help you get it up and running again! See the sticky posts at the top of the Regional Organisers forum (https://www.ducatisportingclub.com/forumdisplay.php?f=110) for some tips but we can send you calling cards, stickers, a t-shirt, and some other goodies if you want to give it a go?
