Also sorry to jump on the thread Matt but has anyone had money taken yet for their entry. My entry was sent in a few weeks ago. New Era used to take the week before. Hoping they do the same this year as it helps.

No time table that I know of (apart from test day).
Spoke to New Era yesterday and they said that they do not take payment until the Monday before the race. So that means people will probably not get the entry in time, AGAIN.
Why would you leave it so late to deal with something so important.
My cheque was cashed quite swiftly for entry and test day.

Spoke to Phil at NE again today. He said they would normally post the tickets out on a Friday but as of this morning they had not received them from Hottax. So it's loking like next week.

Hottrax have been out at Cartagena from Sunday and probably returning today, so once back and sorted I'm sure Karen and Dave will get things moving along

I'm sure your right Kev. However, me being me I feel as this is a new collaboration between NE and Hottrax I think maybe they should have gone the extra mile on the first meeting to provide a good service?
I've got a quid that say's the tickets don't arrive in time.
You in?

I'm still trying to understand having such a late closing date for entries, which if i'm not mistaken is this Saturday.
Entries closing two weeks before the race date makes far more sense, but maybe its a one off due to the Cartagena trackdays
I hope to be heading to Brands on Thursday so it doesn't leave huge amounts of time for the tickets to arrive

We are aswell so only 3 days post next week.
It would be a shame if they don't arrive on time after all the hardwork you and others have put into sorting out 2011 DD.
I even said I would pay for next day delevery but Phil didn't want to do it?
Yep we're heading there Thursday afternoon too and I have some sponsors coming Saturday.
I had hoped to post them out a couple of tickets but no chance of that now, so will have to take them up to the gate when they arrive Saturday Morning
After a couple of spares if anyone has them :)

Anyone know what the deal is on arriving the on Thursday with regards to access to the paddock for Friday's test day.
I've heard of people having to camp outside the entrance in the past

I rang Hottrax about 3 weeks ago. They had spoken to BH and said that security were aware of people arriving on Thursday and access wouldn't be a problem. Still might be worth a call to BH today to make sure though.

Just spoke to BH and they assure me that access to the paddock area will be available on Thursday but no facilities or garages until Friday.

Does anyone know which paddock we are using? Going back years, access to the pitlane paddock was restricted during racing as vans cant get through the tunnel, and have to use the track itself after racing is completed. Now this may not be the case anymore, but if it is, those with vans could get stuck centre track until the endurance has finished on the sunday ( if we are before them in timetable of course)

Thought it was just the Saturday we were racing, in which case unless your stopping overnight Saturday it should not be a problem ?

Doh  . Well ermm, you are right........ It's just a one dayer. I must be working to hard and losing track of things. So I can cancel the overnighter on the sat and get home for a relax before going back to work. Phew, now I can get my act together.
