Well its 35 miles for me just to get there as its in Hampshire (Tothill Services, Highclere, Hampshire RG20 9) its closer to Alton than it is Oxford and unless I go by the A34 it takes quite a while to get to.

It took an hour earlier today going across country and as North Oxfordshire is another 25 miles away its not really your local meet if your looking at travelling 60 miles over half of which could be on the A34.
I find it already a bit of a boring ride down to the usual Newbury venue as the only quick way is the A34.

Didcot services would suit me, Kev, Trudi, Buggsy and Matty far better, also has a MaccyDs, fuel station etc, has easy access and easy to find, just look for the power station

maybe have that as the join point for us deep southerners then, rather than coming right across to Newbury. We can come the good way to Newbury still then a 15 minute blatt up A34

Take the Newbury/Wantage road then cut from Wantage to meet Skids.... nice nice road :@)

P.S. If you do that one i may persuade Mrs Weeksy to meet up and ride out with you lot for the day :) I'd be out myself but i'm already out on Friday for a 6 hour mountain bike ride, so have used my allocation.

I'll wait and see what Kev/s are doing first as if they are going to Macy D's its on the way for you to Wantage anyway, if not no probs I can pick you up at tothill, but its back on the A34 down to Newbury exit anyway.

Got a pic of my bike sat in Wantage Market square when nobody else turned up, its a miserable place to be waiting by yourself, much prefer MacDonalds as you can sit inside and get something to eat or drink.

So Meet up at Maccy D's in Newbury at 9:00 for a 9:30 Departure

James it will be easier to meet us in Newbury, post code is RG14 1AS

Sounds like a great ride out guys:) Funny thing, I was on my way back towards Newbury to get some fuel and saw Gazza look like he went the wrong way and as I went around the roundabout saw him almost fall off..looks like it stalled:confused:

See you all soon.;)
