oo proper winter bargains already!!
shame its so far away....
I noticed No Limits doing a few £55.00 days later on this year. Did one last November, better than some of the sunny days.

If all goes according to plan I'll be there with my class B bike
If the met office forecast turns out to be accurate the weather looks like it will be pretty good - not exactly warm but dry and maybe even a bit sunny... Fingers crossed :)
Was thinking of doing a trackday at Oulton, the link dosn't work, when is it? are there still places?

Wednesday 16th. EasyTrack website seems to be down at the moment but last time I checked it was listed at £45. No idea if there are any spaces left - gotta be worth a call (01223 969996)

Spoke to ET this morning, no spaces left. Said they could have sold out several times over...
Looking forward to this - only my second trackday in a very, very long time.

Yep all looks good, cold but good. We'll be there with the 996 and M600. All being well my mate will be bring his 848 challenge bike for me to have a go on :o
You are more than welcome to come over for a brew etc.
Neil

Cold, cold, cold. Thanks to Toni and Neil - hot coffee, bacon butties and chat all made the day a lot more bearable after I lowsided early on.
First lap of my second session, first time at Oulton so taking it very easy as I was still finding my way round. Not easy enough apparently. Did I mention it was cold? Cold tyres + cold track (+ cold me!) = scuffed fairing & leathers + dented pride. Ho hum.
Back in the paddock we found that the gear linkage had taken a knock and the box was locked solid, so that was me done for the day.
I reckon that works out at £10 per lap - so it wasn't quite the bargain it should have been...
Not put me off, will be back for more, though I draw the line at Mallory in December!

Did a track day at oulton last year in the snow .. that was interesting
They put chemicals on the track to thaw it out .. I swear the stuff was slipperier than the ice ..
It was a real day to suck up and get on with it
Think I did three sessions and called it a day because I couldn't feel anything lol
was good fun (ish) tho
