Sign of the times:(

Hottrax Trackdays have pulled out of the UK Track Day business from October 2011 and closed
Hottrax Ltd. This does not affect our European Events or our Race Club at Hottrax Motorsport. All
of our European Events and Race Meetings will now be run under Hottrax Motorsport Racing Club
Ltd!

We have one event left this year with a track day group and that is Snetterton on 28th October.
This runs along side our test day and is just before our final round at Snetterton.

We have found that this year we cannot compete with other TDO's on price. We took pride in the
quality or our UK events but have seen that this is not enough in these days of rising fuel costs,
vat, circuit hire and insurance.

Hottrax will be acting as an agent for No Limits Track Days who we highly recommend. Any
vouchers or credits you may have with Hottrax Ltd are perfectly safe and can be used on our
European Events or Test Days or on No Limits Track Days as long as they are booked through us
at Hottrax Motorsport before the end of 2012.

The www.hottrax.co.uk web site has been migrated to www.hottrax-online.com as part of our
restructuring. Our email addresses have changed as well, please send any new mail to
info@hottrax-online.com. Any email sent to an address @hottrax.co.uk will be unread.

We hope this does not cause you too many issues and that you can update your bookmarks and
settings accordingly.

The racing web site is still at www.hottrax-motorsport.co.uk

Many thanks for everyone support in the past and good luck with your track days in the future and
by the way we still have 12 places left on our Track Event at Cartagena in November.
Check it out at www.hottrax-online.com

4 races for the same money as 3 races does sound better value but then again 36 laps for the same money as 32 sounds better.

All Clubs have to pay the same for circuit hire then its how they divide up the race days that effects what you get.

The RC do try and negotiate a good deal and Trudi has mentioned the word COST to Dave Mabutt on quite a few occasions

Still the 2012 price structure and provisional Calendar is hopefully sorted and I will soon be sending out a email to all those registered in 2011

I should be able to send out the Bike Regs soon after, just need to check on any changes the ACU might be planning, if they aren't planning any changes that will effect our bikes then Class B will go out un-changed and there will be one or two small updates to the Class A bike regs one of which isn't going to matter to all but one rider that I know of

Cheers!
will be good to get the dates settled. Think the cost of doing the series will creep up again next year. Diesel seems to be going up :( In fact everythin g is going up.

The only positive at the moment is there seem to be a lot of damn good B class machines at a damn good price for people looking to enter the series.

Mark.

you can interpret however you like though..

Cadwell TSGB was actually 2 x 8 lap and 2 x 9 lap = 34 race laps and there was 30 minutes of practice time.

so probably pretty evenly matched on that one.

or how about Oulton Park

Hottrax - 2 x 8 laps + (how long?) qualifying? = £200

TSGB - 2 x 9 laps + 35 minutes qualifying and warm up = £175

not worth getting into debate about but don't always slate the other clubs just because it suits. They all have their merits and differences :)
