View Full Version : Shorty levers for 996BP - 2000 model
Hello All,
Thinking of changing my levers for some shorty race style items (black).
There seems to be so many on the market. Are some better than others?
Is there a brand(s) of choice?
I'm looking for span adjustment and some upwards movement in the event of 'contact'. Also looking for easy fitment with standard Brembo 996BP equipment.
Appreciate your help.
Regards,
James

I really like the CRG ones on my S2R, although they are non folding, the copies of these on my 1100 Monster just don't feel as nice
Here are the FOLDING CRG levers

I've just ordered a pair. (I am sitting here finishing off a bottle of wine that we brought home from a pub meal so that may be clouding my judgement but what the heck?)
How are you doing James?

Hello Colin,
I've orderd a pair as well, checking ebay about 30 mins before you!
I'm doing great thanks, really happy and settled in, although busy with DIY and painting/decorating.
I've been riding with the Oxon/Berks and Hants crew and enjoyed every minute. Some really quick riders in the group who keep making me ride fast (against my will of course.....).
You OK?
Regards,
James

I'm fine thanks.
When I'm stumped how to fit them I'll know who to turn to.
Pity you're not on commission Kev for these.

It seemed to take ages for folding levers to arrive on the market and when they did they were all so costly and only fitted certain mastercylinders, now not only are they a lot cheaper but you can also adjust there length and get them for most bikes
Now where's the folding levers for my AP Adjustable Ratio Mastercylinders

I have a pair of VSV(?) ones. I find them a nuisance, they seem to be too cropped. I would be happy to swap them with another set.
