2005 was a single grid year. Engines could be 674cc carb (583 with the DP 680cc big-bore kit) or 618cc FI (Class A) ... although some decided to get the best of both and run 674cc FI engines ;)
It's marked in Wiki as being "675" rather than 620 or 583.
It was 2006, the second year, that there was a split into the two classes as it was obvious that the bikes were not equal.

If you want results sheets, they can be found here:
http://www.theresults.co.uk/results_archive.html
The exception is the Assen rounds which you can get here:
http://www.mylaps.com/results/showevent.jsp?id=129268
2006 Assen: Class A: Dominic Cann Class B: Phil Huntley?
I can't see Assen 2008 in their results though.
The results isn't actually loading up any pdf's on my laptop (tried Chrome and Windows Explorer). Also, it only goes back to 2006, not 2005.

Try the New Era site? http://www.neweramcc.org/
Not sure about 2005. I'm sure I have them all in a folder at home though.

NewEra also only goes back to 2006 and doesn't include Assen or 2011 Castle Combe results.
I used the New Era pages (plus results I have from the past 2 season) to make up the following list:

you're there twice Ron
you're there twice Ron
That is because I had poles in 2010 and 2011. Quite a few other names up there more than once if you look. I was setting it up the same as the Wins/season already on the Wiki site to keep everything to the same format.

And how many mentions of the DSC???
And how many mentions of the DSC???
I'm not sure I follow. Are you saying there are not enough or too many? As it is the DSC that run the series it would be a little odd not to mention them.

Sorry Kev, I took the Qualifying from the Saturday (Mike Dawson, Matt Traynar) instead of Sunday. Looks like I will have to go through the results again.... for all the years prior to 2011, if there were 2 days of racing, was it always Sunday that was the Championship round?

Can someone answer me a stupid question.... do you count wins in podiums? (i.e. Neil's 13 wins and 9 2nd/3rd places doesn't become 13 wins and 22 podiums?).

Ron, I don't think you add them together. I believe It still puts me top of the list.:D
However I have been wrong in the past (often some say).....

Ron.
I have back tracked through Andy Sheppards results in class A. He had 12 wins and 8 podiums but the total podiums on Wiki counts as 20. So it would appear that wins count a podiums.
Therefore 13 wins and 9 podiums (all point scoring) count as 22 podiums.
Time for an update of Wiki me thinks. :)
Can someone confirm if this is correct. Also, if you had someone with 10 wins and 18 podiums and another with 9 wins and 25 podiums, who comes first? I would assume wins trumps podiums, then podiums decides position on list amongst those with the same wins?... Or is it podiums that count first?

Looking at Wiki it's wins first.
583 championship:
1: Dominic Clegg 12 Wins. 30 Podiums
2: Sam West 10 Wins. 14 Podiums
3: Phil Huntley 9 Wins. 12 Podiums
4: Andy Sheppard 8 Wins. 15 Podiums
5 Matt Traynar 8 Wins. 12 Podiums
6: Harriet Ridley 5 Wins. 21 Podiums
620 Championship:
1: Andy Sheppard: 12 Wins. 20 Podiums
2: Geoff Spencer 12 Wins. 19 Podiums
3: Kyle Hinton 11 Wins. 19 Podiums
4: Tim Pritchard 9 Wins. 22 Podiums
5: Ian Cobby 9 Wins. 12 Podiums
6: Dominic Cann 8 Wins. 32 Podiums

seems straight forward.
wins = number of 1st
podiums = total of all 1st, 2nd , 3rd
so 10 wins and 18 podiums means 10 1sts and 18 1/2/3rd...right???!
probably not - like most things DSC its more complicated than it need be
This isn't a DSC thing.... Just after what convention is. Seems odd to count them twice, but if that is it, that is what we use.
I will also assume wins places in list first, with podiums sorting those on same number of wins..
I will leave anyone on the original list there (all very worthy), and add to the list anyone (such as Neil) that beats anyone already there.

I have no idea as i wasn't involved with it but this year there will be 23 races to the Championship so 69  podiums per class
So a good chance for the records to change

Yep records are there to be broke.
Always nice to have your name on the list though. ;) :D
Neil, I have finally got around to adding you in. Unfortunately, I have had to put myself on the Class B list also (not sure I totally deserve it, and find it hard to believe I am the only one from Class B this year, but the numbers just seem to add up that way - I haven't fiddled it, honest!). If anyone else thinks they should be on the list, please post here.
