The initial CRT testing Valencia

1.- Randy De Puniet, ART 1.35.3 (38 laps)
2.- Aleix Espargaró, ART 1’36.7 (47 laps)
3.- Mattia Pasini, ART 1’37.8 (30 laps)

Given the weather for the race in 2011 was wet, Dovie's lap at 1.34.16 then is not really representative. but Punners is 1.3 secs off the 2011 fastest lap in the race.

Back to 2010 and the gap is 3-5.5 secs to the fastest race lap.

I really hope they are no more than 1-1.5 secs slower maximum.

The big one is tomorrow - will the GP12 be faster than the CRT?!!! :lol:

Be a bit like Moto2, the first year kept seeing one team after another improve there set up, then with a winter to put what they had learnt into practice the bikes for the second season of Moto2 were heck of a lot quicker than they had been 12 months earlier
