It is the air temperature sender.

As Chris says its the Air Temp sensor
Its a Magneti Marelli ATS 05 part required by the ECU to help get the fueling correct on Cold and Warm days by triming the main fueling map

It's close enough for me!
(but you're right, it is slightly different... Still didn't know what it was!)

The 620 Sport and Monster combine the Air temp sensor with the Air pressure sensor

Well up until 18 months ago I did have to Partical Accelerators to distract me 5 days of the week
Now I have 4 days of the week for this hobby :)
