My 749 came with pirelli diablo's on, they felt fantastic ,super sticky lots of feedback but seem to wear out extra fast. Was thinking of venturing into slicks but have no idea which brand to try. Can't seem to find any comparisons on google either. Anyone had any experiences?

I ran Super Corsa's (SC1 front and SC2 rear) on my 996 last year. The rear didn't last as long as I wanted but the grip is outstanding, probably why they are so popular. I have Bridgestone R10's at the mo and the rear seems to be wearing much better without any as yet noticable loss of grip. However, they haven't seen a hot TD or race day yet.
Around £50 cheaper the the Pirelli's aswell. :D

I change my statement . They weren't diablo's they were the same as yours , super corsa's . Fantatic grip but lasted no time at all. Slicks have got to be the way forward, just wondering if there is a certain brand which people recommend?
