If I have done the maths right then,

Well done to Matt Lawson and Chris Clarke for setting new lap records today.

Been watching the live timing, very exciting.
Man I wish I'd been there. :)

8 bikes tested on the Dyno including those of the new lap record holders and all bikes found to be under the class limit for bhp. ie Therefore Legal

Dallas's bike was one of those tested and the difference between the bhp figure on the Parkitt Dyno reading today and that of the BSD one two weeks ago was 0.3bhp with today's been the lower reading

Some great lap times put in by alot of people, the bigger grid has certainly made for some interesting racing this year... Bring on Snetterton :)

A great nicley mixed field.

Looks like the A class guys are going to have to work hard to stay in front of that Chris fella!

Quite a few records to update on the Wiki Page actually: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ducati_Sporting_Club_DesmoDue_Championship

620 lap record set by M Lister in 2010 was taken by M Lawson
583 lap record set by D Clegg in 2008 was taken by C Clarke

583 8-lap record set by K Ellis in 2005 was taken by D Jenkins

There are also 15 and 11 lap records for M Lawson and C Clarke for distances we didn't have a previous time for (luckily you girls didn't do the 18 lap endurance race we had last year, so Mr Appleby and myself keep those records for the time being ;) !)

I couldn't even match that this year dispite the bike now having a fuel injected 620 engine, grippier tyres, a Ohlins shock in place of a Hagon shock, adjustable forks, lighter wheels, lighter alloy swingarm.

As the saying goes "The Older I get the faster I was"
I think I just need to face up to I'm just not going as fast as I did, lapping Brands at roughly 1 second slower than I use to on what should have been a lesser bike.

I think Mr Lister would have gone a lot faster every where on those Dunlops;) he was on the worst tyres DD have ever used.

I think Mark would have had a few more lap records using the Dunlops they are better than any of the previous tyres using the latest technology, shame I can't get them to work better than the old Diablos or maybe its just Brain Fade on my part
