Well ive just been down to pick my 848 up in white, I didnt think i was going to like it in white but when i saw it looks pretty cool, well i had another result it only has 950 miles on the clock and its an 09 plate with fsh, carbon mudgaurds and hugger, carbon exhaust protector, termis, it looks lovely will get pics on here when I get a good camera!!

All in all I only rid it 100 yards and already felt much better than my 748!!

Is there anything else i should do to it??

:) :)

Get yourself a steering damper kit,

Fabbri are amongst the best screens if it does not already have a double bubble.

I have a few parts that I am selling for a friend, see the 'For Sale' section.

IMHO doesnt need a steering damper; mine never did and that was ridden pretty hard on very bumpy A & B roads

You must have better roads than we do up north. On some bumpy roads when giving it a thrashing mine flaps like mad. Only on very bumpy roads though.

No, sold my 1098 and now got an 848.

It does not do it all the time but it did it a couple of times and it was enough to make me feel more confident having a damper on.

Snap. First excursion on mine today, been in the garage since Oct, awesome! Seems quicker than I remember the old version and front gets lighter too, but sure that's just because it's 18 months or so since I rode a fast sports bike

Gotta sort suspension tho, no idea how Tim rode this thing like this! Oh and add a little pressure in tyres, realised when I got home that was the one prep thing ( did chain etc) I forgot yesterday.....23 front 25 rear may not be he best for the road ;)

did some messing with suspension and out again yesterday, plus 31/29 R/F pressures...seem to behave a little better but needs proper set up, time to book it into Snells
