Greetings one and all.

I need a new leather jacket and quite like the look of the Alpinestars Patriot/Bostrom one, any comments would be welcome.

Also what about the new Duicati Jackets!.

Interested in any comments you chaps have on jackets and suppliers.

Regards

For the money I'd get a Off the peg or made to measure Crowtree/Carrera or Hideout Jacket (BKS are better but cost a packet - depends how much you want to spend?)

Probably cost around £350 - 500 but are miles better leather/stitching, proper CE armour, choose colours & logo's & possibly design, will survive a few crashes............

Worth the bit extra

And they (Crowtree) will do any design you like, so if you really like the Alpinestars designs, I'm sure they would do summat similar.
If you want to have a look a my (cut off in hospital) leathers to see the quality/construction, you are very welcome. After all, it's an important decision.

Have to agree with the BKS/Carrera recomendations. Top quality.
I have a Spyke suit at the moment which I've found pretty good, although haven't had to test it out yet.....:rolleye:

Apparently, there is an interesting test article about all things leather and clothing coming up in Ride. From what I've heard, it'll make interesting reading.......;)

I bought a "last years design" Dainese two piece zip together suit and it survived a hig speed off very well.

Definitely recommend Hideout (although I haven't tested it...).

I should of said I have a BKS all in one (superb) and a hideout two piece (very good) and did briefly have a crowtree all in one which was very good but not quite as good as the BKS suit but £600 less!!

Furygan stuff is the bestest in my opinion. Damn hard to find though.
