not in keeping with the bike - if it doesn't need it, don't have it.

This one? :barfy:
it's "barfy" with the colons
Bit OTT for me. There's a nice set of Leo Vinci (really!) pipes on ebay at the mo, blue-d titanium which I reckon is the dogs' wobblies. Carbon's soooo yesterday darling.

OK, I'll give you the shirt part KB. But just to prove that I'm not aesthetically-challenged when it comes to exhaust systems, I just love the one on the new 999. Pftfbt.
Seriously mates, I realize the reason that custom products like Black Widow aren't generally popular with Ducati owners is that most owners want add-ons that directly reflect Ducati's racing heritage so if they see their pipes (Termignonis or whatever) on a race bike there's a reflected glow on theirs. I agree there is a certain beauty relating to the form-vs-function starkness of a race bike but I also think that small start-up companies like Black Widow Racing also deserve our support when they offer a quality product. I'm not suggesting that we go the route of Harley owners in an attempt to customize our bikes, but minor variations on the theme really don't need to be shunned either.
Inevitably, discussions on this topic always end-up with the (deviant) owner being chastised by suggesting that the product, or owner, or both, lacks a sense of beauty. I’ll get me flame-proof coat now, the one with the little blue flowers.
Looks like a BMW M3..... sorry pants pants pants....no taste !!!
