View Full Version : Paint flaking off the wheels

The paint is bubbling and flaking off my rear wheel. I have asked a local (non-main dealer) garage what to do and they have quoted my nearly £200 to repaint the wheel and they cannot promise to colour match it!

Apparently the *problem* I am told is that the paint has no laquer coat over the top.

I am based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Any suggestions/ideas where I can go to get it done properly (i.e. back to original condition) and some idea of cost.

Thanks :D

Sorry not really.
but £200 for one wheel sounds a bit excessive !!!!

the only paint flaking problem i know of is the engine paint on the monster range
